Así comienza cada capítulo de una de las mejores creaciones de Jim Henson, padre de Barrio Sésamo, los Teleñecos, y películas como Cristal Oscuro.
Fraguel Rock (Fraggle Rock en inglés) era una serie para televisión, de capítulos de 25 minutos de duración cada uno en los que se contaban las aventuras de una serie de criaturas conocidas como los fraguel, empeñadas en pasárselo bien, jugar y cantar.
Aunque Fraguel Rock era una serie pensada en el público infantil, causó sensación entre un público de edades muy diversas, y aún hoy sigue gustando a los treintañeros que veían la serie cuando eran pequeños.
El origen de esta serie se remonta a 1983, y según se cuenta, la idea nació concretamente el día 3 de Abril de ese año. Ese día, Jim Henson anotaba en su cuaderno una serie de ideas sobre una nueva serie.Por entonces no se había fijado todavía el nombre de los nuevos muñecos, que inicialmente se llamaban “woozles”, pero sí que estaba claro que habría varios tipos de criaturas, unas divertidas, otras trabajadoras, y otras enormes, que acabarían convirtiéndose en los fraguel, los curri, y los goris.
Estas criaturas convivirían en un mundo oculto, lleno de detalles y sorpresas.La idea era que la serie no sólo sirviera para entretener, sino que cada capítulo contara algo, que se pudiera sacar una moraleja de cada episodio, que ayudara a la gente a comprender las relaciones entre las personas, y el delicado equilibrio del mundo.
De hecho, se dice que Fraguel Rock se concibió como una serie pensada para ayudar a establecer un estado de paz mundial, de ahí también el esfuerzo por conseguir que los guiones fueran fácilmente adaptados a las diferentes culturas de los países en los que se iba a proyectar.
Lamentablemente no se consiguió, pero esas eran las intenciones.
No estaría nada mal, ahora que está tan de moda, sacar en DVD series antiguas, etc que se editara algo en este formato para tenerlo y pasar "otra vez" un buen rato.
Encontré hace muuuuchos años una cinta de cassette con todas las canciones de los Fraguels. La disfruté como un crío con zapatos nuevos. De hecho, cada cierto tiempo, siempre surge una conversación sobre las series ochenteras (fraguels, superhéroe americano, oliver y benji...). ¡Qué tiempos!
A mí también me encantaba... y las cancioncillas eran muy buenas. De las que menciona Ozé, también me gustó el superhéroe americano (aunque posiblemente hoy me pareciera una chorrada), aunque Oliver y Benji no la pillé..
Ultimamente empiezan a ponerse de moda las series antiguas, y es un momento ideal para conseguir alguna de estas que nos gustaron, ya que empiezan a editarse algunas en DVD, lo que se agradece ya que se gana en calidad y podemos tenerlo para siempre, no solo en el recuerdo.....
Los fraguel!!!!! que tiempos,hoy los recorde con un amigo,pequeños recuerdos de historias,la canción....espero que reediten la serie o saquen los dvd de aprende por fascículos. Si hay que presionar avisadme.Un beso a toda esta generación!
"¡¡Vamos a jugar!! ¡¡Tus problemas déjalos!! ¡¡Para disfrutar!! ¡¡Ven a Fraguel Rock!!..." De pequeñita seguí toda la serie!! Era tan divertida!! Y me hacían mucha gracia los hombrecitos que no paraban de trabajar :) Les tengo muchíiiiiiiiiiiisimo cariño a los Fraguel Rock porque eran muy divertidos y graciosos :) Llevo años buscando muñecos o peluches de Los Fraguel pero ni siquiera los venden. Tenemos que conseguir que editen la serie en dvd y los muñecos. Sería muy bonito y seguro que miles de personas lo agradecerían. Echo muchísimo de menos los años 80, pues hubo series y películas muy bonitas que ya no se hacen, entre las que está mi favorita: "Labyrinth", de Jim Henson. Y qué me decís de Candy Candy, eh? No era buena?? A mi me encantaba, al igual que todos los dibujitos de los 80,como los Fraguels. Aún me emociono cuando recuerdo algunas de las canciones. Vivan los 80´s!!!
Y que me decis de una serie que se llamaba "los saurones" os acordais alguno de ella.... A mi también me encantaría que regresaran otros tiempos, pero a veces solo hay que conformarse con los recuerdos. Y la verdad no son pocos ;) Saludos a todos aquellos que siguen soñando como yo.
ahora ponen los fraguel en localia a las 18:00 (por lo menos en lugo). otra gran serie: los mosqueperros. por cierto, candy candy tenía capítulos censurados en parte por su contenído erótico (que era bastante¡)

Solo quiero preguntar si alguno de ustedes sabe el nombre de una serie de televisión (gringa) de los 80s que se trataba de una pareja de esposos que se la pasaba huyendo de la policía ya que ella era acusada de un asesinato (que no cometió) y la serie versaba en que andaban buscando ellos al asesino.
